We are still alive & lots has happened!

First of all I will do a quick update before I share some of the events in the last year. Sorry it's been so long, I will try harder-but I have done so much.

Jori: I have moved to Kanab and am now back with my mom in St. George. I prefer St. George, so much warmer and more things to do. I have found a job doing customer service over the phones. I love it, very relaxed and fits me. I am going to be attending Dixie in January. I will be on my way to becoming a dental hygienist. I have always wanted to be one, but it is just now starting to work out with going to school, working, and being a mom. I am officially divorced-YAY! It has taken me a long time to get it done, very emotional times, but it is finished! I am very relieved. Things are great for Carson and I.

Carson: Well, this little man..not so little, but he has started Day Care/Preschool at a lady's house here in St. George. He LOVES it! There are so many boys his age, which i like because he needs to build those social skills. He will be turning 3 in October, and he is talking with everyone. He is starting to not wear diapers-his choice to potty train, not mine. I am loving this! He can swim on his own with floaties, and he loves the pool! He loves dinosaurs so much-it's crazy! He has struggled a bit with Rick not being around as much, but he is adjusting fairly well for a 34 month old toddler.
This summer I went to Lake Powell a couple of times with my friends. It was so much fun, and good to spend time with adults.

PEACE!

My brother Matt is like another dad to Carson. Carson absolutely loves Matt. He does so much with him like.. driving truck (his face tells you how he feels about Uncle Matt)

Matt really teaches him how to work the whole truck thing- Carson can basically drive it on his own...

And Matt has taught Carson all about horses. During a reception for one of Rick's family members in American Fork, Carson all night kept saying, "Neigh, Neigh mom!" Of course, I didn't think anything of it. Well, all of the sudden I couldn't find Carson. For 45 minutes everyone at the reception was looking for him. Finally someone was leaving the reception and yells, "he's over by the horses across the street!" You have got to be kidding me? It's pitch black dark outside, and my son saw horses? We go running over there, and he is under the horses, petting their bellies!! I couldn't believe it! He was just smiling and loving life, while everyone else is having semi-heart attacks. But, one thing I know with horses, if they can't sense fear, they don't even bother you. Carson has no fear for anything, especially horses.

We went to a creek in Washington just for a fun day in the sun. I love this little guy!

Dawson and Carson are such good buddies! Carson is helping Dawson in the water-it's SO cute!

Matching hats! How can you not smile at these 2?
They both have a passion for tubby time. It's the cutest thing to watch them have water fights-they are both such good sports about it too.

We spent a lot of time at the Washington pool too. Carson loves his Grandma SOOO much!
Me and my cute baby boy!
He's so cute, just watching the water spout out from the ground-I wonder what's going on in his mind...

Happy Easter Carson! They had a huge easter egg hunt in my mom's old community (we just moved again). Carson had so much fun getting prizes and candy!
When Carson woke up for Easter he found his basket-it was pretty cool! He couldn't take his eyes off of what he got!

After moving to Kanab, and before I moved back in with my mom, I was in Orem with Rick. It was nice to be a stay at home mom. I found many things to do with Carson to entertain him like water colors for example.
We both had so much fun! Notice my "Color Me Happy Preschool" shirt? I figured I'd dress right for the occasion.

Carson learned how to cook in Orem as well. This was a new learning experience for the both of us. :-)

For Halloween Carson was a Devil and Dawson was a tiger. We went trick or treating only for a little bit, but Carson got plenty of candy. He's the cutest devil you'll ever see!

We went to the shooting range before we went Christmas tree hunting after Thanksgiving. It was so cold we kept the little ones in the car-so Carson taught Dawson how to drive.

My brother Matt-very good lookin & single (if anyone wants to hook him up)

Here is my nephew Layne, my dad, and my niece Lyndee competing.

Of course, my dad has the best shot out of any of us

We spent some time on cedar mountain roasting mallows-Carson thought this was the bomb.com

We also celebrated Carson's 2nd birthday! (he will be 2 in 2 months-sorry on the delay of events) As earlier posts will tell you he loves Cars as well-so we did a Cars theme for his party. He was loving hitting the pinyata-I had to teach him how at first, but then he got the hang of it.
He just wanted to eat the cake, but we did make it through the song first :-)
Carson had a puppy for a little bit named Champ. He was such a good dog, but we had to let him go because he tore everything up. :-(
Just a favorite memory I don't want to forget, is Carson always so happy to run around naked after tubby time.
And another memory- he is so amazing with any sport. He has been able to hit a ball being pitched to him since he could walk. He is extremely athletic!
That's all until next time! Sorry so long, but I'm glad I got around to it finally.
